3 year research project to create animal and human derived iPSC models and identify possible drug compounds that may slow the retinal degeneration and prolong the health of viable photoreceptors
All monies raised at our fundraisers are tax-deductible. We do not pay administration fees nor maintains any employees. The RHD12 Foundation and A Candle in the Dark are entirely supported by volunteer efforts. Both funds are devoted to the development of a cure for RDH12–LCA and all monies donated are used to fund RDH12-focused research, raise public awareness, and further fundraising activities.
